Riding Lessons
Blue Hill Farm offers English-style riding lessons. It is recommended that students take at least one lesson per week. Lessons are for ages 6 and up.
All riders must wear pants, closed toe shoes, and a helmet regardless of age.
Tiny Trotters
Ages 3-6
Give your little one a gentle and joyful introduction to horses! Our leadline pony ride sessions are designed just for kids ages 3–6. With kind, kid-safe horses and patient instructors, your child will build confidence and make magical memories—one ride at a time.
What to Expect in a Session
Each 20-minute session includes:

Lesson Policy
We’re so excited to have you join us for riding lessons!
Here are a few things to keep in mind:

Payment is due at or before your lesson. For new students, pre-payment is needed to book.

Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule—we’re unable to make exceptions to this policy.

A $20 missed lesson fee applies if it’s a no-show.

All lessons are by appointment only.

Lessons happen rain or shine! If there’s dangerous weather, we’ll reach out to reschedule or cancel. If it rains, we’ll keep things going with a fun and lesson on the ground.

Competing
Our team frequently competes at local shows throughout the season, giving our riders and horses valuable experience in a fun, supportive environment.
These shows provide the perfect opportunity for riders of all levels to gain confidence, set goals, and showcase their hard work.
